Privacy Policy

When you first visit TrueNumbers, we show a privacy notice explaining how we use cookies. You can accept or decline. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage.

If you decline, we still show ads but they will not be personalized to your interests. Either way your financial calculator inputs never leave your browser.

You can change your cookie preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or by visiting this page.

We collect no personal information. Specifically:

• We do not require account creation or login
• We do not store your calculator inputs
• We do not store your results
• We do not sell data to third parties

The only data that may be collected is standard web server access logs (IP address, page visited, timestamp) that most web hosts retain automatically for security purposes. We do not use this data for tracking or marketing.

TrueNumbers uses your browser's local storage for two purposes only:

• Cookie consent preference — we store whether you accepted or declined personalized advertising, so the consent notice does not reappear on every visit. The key is tn_privacy_accepted.
• Calculator UI preferences — some calculators save lightweight display preferences (for example, whether you have enabled a manual override mode) so your settings persist between sessions. These keys contain no financial figures, only UI state.

No financial data you enter into any calculator is stored in local storage or anywhere else. When you close the tab, your inputs are gone. Local storage data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings or the button above.

This site is hosted on Vercel. We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure aggregate page performance and traffic patterns. Vercel Analytics is privacy-friendly by design — it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint individual users, and does not share data with advertising networks. Review Vercel's privacy policy for full details on their data practices.

We load fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests a font file, Google logs that request (IP address, browser, referring page). Review Google's privacy policy for details.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other behavioral tracking service. See the Advertising section below for our use of Google AdSense.

This site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense and other advertising networks. These services use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site.

Opting out means ads will not be personalized but you may still see ads.

The financial figures you enter into this calculator (home price, income, savings, etc.) are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. These numbers are never transmitted to any server. We have no way of seeing, storing, or accessing what you enter.

That said, we recommend not using this tool on shared or public computers if you consider your financial information sensitive.
